Arfun Ara is a Research Intern at the Center for Policy and Economic Research (CPER), bringing a strong foundation in applied statistics and data analysis. She holds an M.Sc. in Applied Statistics from East West University, where her thesis examined the interplay between exchange rate volatility, inflation, foreign direct investment, exports, and economic growth in Bangladesh using advanced time-series modeling. Alongside her academic work, Arfun has gained professional experience in teaching, mentoring, and institutional development, with a focus on monitoring, evaluation, and community engagement. Her research interests center on evidence-based policy analysis, community development, and leveraging quantitative methods to support data-driven decision-making in economic and social policy.
